Who Are we?

Hyper Paint is the leading specialist retailer of paint in Gauteng. Our first branch opened in Ophirton (JHB) in 1981, and we have gone from strength to strength since then, now running six branches around Johannesburg as well as a dedicated online store. In the first few years, Hyper Paint traded principally from its main Ophirton flagship store and supplied paint and paint supplies to DIY customers and contractors around Johannesburg and even further out. With 40 years of experience, our goal hasn’t changed since day one; To add value to the customer. That is why our mission statement is “Best Product, Expert service, Best price.

How do I go about getting a quote?

All pricing is displayed on our website. You can also Phone us, Chat with us online, WhatsApp us or Send us an email and we will get back to you momentarily.

Are you an online company or do you have physical stores?

We run six branches around Johannesburg as well as a dedicated online store. We offer nationwide delivery across South Africa.

Do you have showrooms where I can see the products?

We have physical stores, not showrooms. You are more than welcome to visit us at your closest branch.

Do you only supply companies or are you able to supply individuals as well?

We supply everyone, whether you’re a company, individual or reseller. We will happily assist you.

Do you need to have an account in order to purchase on our website?

No, you do not have to have an account with us in order to place an order.

Orders

What are your general lead times?

Lead time is dependent on stock availability. Should we have stock available, orders will be dispatched the same day provided payment is validated/received before 12:00 hours.

Should the product not be in stock please allow 3 working days plus freight transit time (If the manufacturer has the products in stock). This will allow for delivery to our warehouse.

Every effort is made to effect shipment of your order timeously however unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Should we be faced with such an occurrence, Hyper Paint (Pty) Ltd will contact you via email or contact number and provide a revised shipping schedule.

Do you have a minimum amount to spend?

We do not have a minimum amount to spend. We do, however, offer free delivery anywhere in South Africa on all orders above R3000.

Are you able to assist with rush orders?

I want to place an order, how do I do that and what is the process?

You can order in store or place your order online. Once we have received an order confirmation and the funds have reflected in our account, we will then process your order. We will send a confirmation email, upon processing.

How will I know the status of my order?

We will keep you updated via email or phone call. We will also provide you with a tracking number, so that you can track your order.

Can I cancel my order?

Once I’ve paid for the products, are they mine?

Yes. Ownership of products is transferred to you once Hyper Paint (Pty) Ltd has received full payment in our account.

What if I’m unhappy with my order?

Your happiness is our priority so if you’re unhappy with your order then please contact us. We will work with you to ensure that you are 100% satisfied.

Payments

What are our payment terms?

In-store & online sales

We always require full payment prior to delivery unless prior arrangements have been made. We will only process your order, once we have received payment in full.

We also accept “Buy now, pay later, interest-free” – When you select Payflex or Float as your checkout method (this offer is exclusive to online sales only).

What forms of payment methods do we accept?

In-store payments accepted cash or card.

For online orders an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) is our preferred payment method (for Standard Orders). We bank with Standard Bank. We will not process any orders, until funds reflect in our account.

Online Sales can be paid by :

Cheques are not accepted. We accept cash on in-store orders.

Who do we bank with?

Our business bank account is with Standard Bank.

What are our Banking Details?

We only provide banking details once you have approved your quote. This eliminates payments being made into our account without the correct reference numbers.

What is Payflex?

Payflex offers the first truly free payment plan in South Africa.

 

Checkout with Payflex on our website and pay only 25% of the purchase price today.

 

Your goods are shipped immediately, and you pay the rest over 6 weeks at no additional cost (zero fees, zero interest*).

 

Payflex is not a credit provider. Payflex provides interest-free and charge-free payment plans for low-value amounts over 6 weeks.

 

This is commonly referred to in the industry as BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later) services.

 

If one does not meet the required installment dates, penalties are incurred, but not in the form of interest.

 

* Default fees apply if you miss a payment.

Is it safe to use Payflex?

Absolutely. Payflex is an established payments company that is part of the Zip Co Ltd. group listed in Australia.

 

All payments are processed through state-of-the-art, PCI-compliant payment systems that ensure the security of your payments.

Are there really no extra fees or interest rates?

That’s right, and we’ll shout it from the rooftops! THERE REALLY ARE NO INTEREST OR EXTRA FEES.

 

Simply put, Payflex isn’t your traditional finance company.

 

They believe in giving you the choice to get it now and pay later!

 

Pay your scheduled payments on time and you’ll pay the original price your item was advertised for.

 

It does sound too good to be true, doesn’t it? Well, it’s not. There’s only one time you would ever pay more…and that’s if you miss a scheduled payment.

 

Then, sadly, Payflex will have to charge a R85.00 (incl. VAT) default fee to cover their costs and a further R85.00 (incl. VAT) for every week the installment is outstanding for a maximum of three (3) charges.

 

So, to avoid drama, please ensure that you have money in your account in advance of your scheduled installment.

 

Payflex will email you in advance every time as a reminder.

What do I need to make my first purchase using Payflex?

If it’s your first time using Payflex, welcome!

 

They’ll just need to iron out some small details (you know, the usual: name, mobile number, email address, and South African ID number) then they will do a quick automatic credit and ID assessment to check that you are who you say you are and all that!

 

The Payflex system does this instantly and, if all is good and you agree to the payment schedule, you can make your first payment with any debit, credit, or cheque card.

 

Payflex accepts all Mastercard and Visa cards.

Am I eligible to shop using Payflex?

That depends on you.

  • Are you over the age of 18?
  • Do you have a South African-issued Visa or Mastercard debit, cheque, or credit card?
  • Do you live in sunny South Africa?
  • and have a good credit history (which the automated Payflex system will review when you sign up)?

If so, then you should be good to go!

What is Float?

With Float, you can enjoy your purchases today and pay for them over time, interest-free and fee-free, without taking out any new credit.

 

Float helps you to manage your cash flow by only charging your credit card for a single interest-free installment each month, as opposed to charging you the full amount up-front like a regular credit card transaction.

 

In short – Float buys you up to six (6) months to settle your credit card balance for your purchase on our site. This is especially useful for those BIG value purchases.

 

The cherry on top? You still get all your reward points for using your credit card!

Can I use Float for my in-store purchases?

Unfortunately, Float payment is exclusive to our online sales only.

Is Float secure to use?

Yes – Keeping your information secure is a top priority for us and Float.

 

Float uses a PCI DSS Level 1 certified processor (the highest level of credit card data security standards) to handle your credit card data. Do you deliver?

Yes. We provide delivery as a service.

Where do you deliver to?

We offer Nationwide delivery, anywhere in South Africa.

Which courier company do you use?

We use company vehicles to deliver in and around Johannesburg. For orders delivered outside of Johannesburg, we partner with ‘CHF Global Logistics’.

How do I qualify for free delivery?

If your order is above R4000 and you live anywhere in South Africa, then you qualify for free delivery.

What is the delivery fee for orders below R4000?

We charge a flat rate of R350 on all orders below R4000, anywhere in South Africa.

How quickly can I expect to receive my order?
