Tips & Advice

1. Preparing the Surfaces
Ensure all interior surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, flaking paint, and surface contaminants.
Suitable for properly prepared interior walls and ceilings, including cement plaster, gypsum plaster, concrete, and previously painted surfaces.
For porous or newly plastered walls, first apply the recommended Plascon primer or sealer to ensure optimal adhesion and coverage.

2. Application
Stir thoroughly before use.
Apply using a high-quality roller for the smoothest velvet sheen finish, and use a brush for edges and corners.
Apply two coats for the best stain resistance and long-lasting durability.
Allow the recommended drying time between coats to ensure a flawless result.

3. Cleaning
Clean equipment immediately after use with clean water.
Once fully dry and cured, surfaces painted with Plascon Double Velvet can withstand repeated washing thanks to its multi-layer stain barrier.

4. Best Results
Avoid applying in high humidity, extreme temperatures, or when direct airflow from heaters or fans is present, as this may affect the sheen.
Maintain a steady rolling technique to ensure a consistent, luxurious finish.
For colour consistency, always use paint from the same batch on a single wall.
